Wenn nichts wirklich Wichtiges passiert, ist hier erst einmal Funkstille für fast einen Monat. Ab 22. Juli lohnt dann wieder das tägliche Vorbeischauen. Bis dahin gibt's nur das Bild vom Beyer-Bau (das man sich natürlich auch im Urlaub täglich ansehen kann)...

„Die Sunnibergbrücke bei Klosters – ein innovatives Brückenbauwerk“ ist das Thema von Dr. sc. techn. Werner Brändli, Geschäftsführer der Firma Bänziger + Köppel + Brändli + Partner aus Chur in der Schweiz.
Die Sunnibergbrücke wurde auf dem diesjährigen Deutschen Bautechnik-Tag in Hamburg mit dem Ingenieurbau-Preis 2002 des Verlages Ernst & Sohn ausgezeichnet.
Der Vortrag findet im Rahmen der Veranstaltungsreihe Seminar für Bauwesen" am 17. Juli 2003 von 14.50 bis 16.20 Uhr im Beyer-Bau,
Hörsaal 81, George-Bähr-Straße 1, 01069 Dresden, statt. Am 3.7. und 10.7. findet kein Seminar statt, nach der hier angekündigten Veranstaltung ist erst einmal Sommerpause.

Economic, technological and social conditions are developing rapidly. The maintenance and continuous renewal of buildings, engineering structures, lifelines and infrastructure systems are tremendous tasks and a challenge for civil engineers worldwide.
Such tasks call for extended skills:
- in the assessment of the actual situation
- in knowledge of building materials concerning old technologies and new materials
- in construction methods and
- in economics and finances.
Experts with such knowledge are needed in local, national and international bodies, consultant agencies, design offices, construction enterprises, investment and insurance companies worldwide.
The new master program Rehabilitation Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Technische Universität Dresden offers an internationally oriented two-years program.
All lectures are given in English. In addition courses are offered in German on demand.
The program is approved by Senate and Council of Rectors and has to be confirmed by Saxon State Government.
